Use a conservative maximum file-size preset for large uploads. For visual-heavy Claude workflows, a page-count limit can be more useful than file size alone.

Why split before uploading?

AI services can enforce file-size, page-count or context limits. Smaller, well-bounded files are easier to upload, retry and reference.

Privacy

The PDF body is processed locally in your browser rather than uploaded to the Split2AI application server.
